Are Your Contractors Really Employees in the Eyes of ATO and Fair Work?DETAILS
The employment landscape is a never ending complex path to follow, especially when it comes down to is this person an employee or contractor?
Now more than ever the ATO and the Fair Work Commission are cracking down on businesses who are engaging individuals through the wrong method and not providing them the entitlements they are owed.
Hart Partners and HR Dept are joining forces to hold an informative educational session outlining the differences between engaging someone as an employee and or contractor, explain the methodology of determining what option is best for you, discuss the risk measures, Fair Work and ATO implications, Super and WorkCover requirements, and the difference between accounts payable and payroll.
The session is aimed at the business owner who contracts subcontractors to perform work where they invoice them under an ABN.
If you are a business owner that has ever used a subcontractor then this session is a must to make sure you are not exposed from a Fair Work and ATO perspective.
During the session we will provide you with knowledge that you can take back and implement into your business. The event will also a great opportunity to network with other business owners.
